The Outreach/Education Program Assistant for Environmental Justice will works closely with other staff and volunteers to proactively take our message to communities, groups, and schools throughout Delaware, with an emphasis reaching and engaging a more diverse audience than we have typically reached in the past. The Program Assistant’s efforts will spearhead a more comprehensive educational and outreach program to reach those citizens most affected by plastic pollution (extraction, refining, transportation, litter, landfilling, microplastics in our food chain, and more). The position will also assist in communicating the information of PFD’s Community Composting Initiative (DCCI) program and supporting the development of community composting sites and reducing food waste.
